Guide for Travelers with Disabilities

Access Anything Colorado: Adventuring with Disabilities
By Craig Kennedy and Andrea Jehn; Fulcrum Publishing, $15.95

According to the authors, about 55 million people with disabilities live in the United States. Kennedy, himself a wheelchair traveler, and partner Jehn have put together a guide that addresses the needs of the disabled, whether paraplegic or quadriplegic, whether using a manual or power wheelchair. They include metropolitan areas (Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver) and small towns (Telluride, Aspen, Vail) as well as information on winter travel, summer travel, and national and state parks.
